Working parties
Following the signing of the Strategic Plan the Association continues to regularly organise workshops, or working parties that were founded to bring to fruition the Strategic Plan. Each workshop corresponds to one of the six strategic lines and is open to all members of Torino Internazionale. During each workshop members present the key results reached within their specific area of expertise and discuss any new ideas that are tabled. The focus of these workshops is always on the most important problems faced in the implementation of the 84 lines of action contained in the Strategic Plan. The working parties meet regularly every three months and are also a good time for updating members on the various initiatives already underway.

Focus Groups
Where issues have arisen in the workshops that seem to have more strategic importance, the Association has introduced a set of focus groups to concentrate on these issues in more detail. The work of these focus groups is to study specific initiatives or projects and find ways to put them into practice. After the focus group has identified, in general terms, how the project will be achieved it can concentrate on who will co-ordinate it. The work of the focus group is to establish an operating team who's role will be carry out the work in a cost effective and efficient way. It is with this task that twenty focus groups were set up, four of them already with an organizational team in place.

Commissioning Research
The Co-ordinating Committee for Torino Internazionale supported by the plenary Assembly of Members chose to commission research projects for an in depth study at a theoretical level into many aspects of the Turin's Metropolitan area. These research projects help to identify more clearly the sectors that require more attention in the future. The four that have been commissioned to date are:
  • Torino and the European competition
  • The map of projects in the metropolitan area
  • The "Social Park"
  • E commerce in Torino
The research projects that have already been published are available, (in Italian) at the following address:
